New Post

So If you dont all ready know im posting this because of my teacher but further more im using a PC!?!?!?! Yes happy day today and its at school. anyway back to the blog format. I'll start with the "My computer doesn't work part", So i got my new case and i put my computer stuff in it and i turn it on and guess what?? It doesnt work so i try repluging everything and still no work so the problem is that the computer turns on but i get no display so i listen to the computer CPU beebs to see if the beebs are a combination but no luck.so after that i think well since the display isn't so naturally i check the graphic card so i reinstall it and check the DVI output and the input and still it doesn't work so i turn off the power supply manually and leave it off for a day and the next day i turn it on and BOOM my computer works. So the problem was the there was too much static for the graphic card to work with. And so to today i got it to work but i need the windows xp cd to boots the computer from and guess what i spend the cd to my brother so he can install windows on his computer thats he's custom building too. So here's the list of what im going to buy

Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 Kentsfield 2.4GHz LGA 775 Quad-Core Processor Model BX80562Q6600 - Retail

Microsoft Windows Vista 64-Bit Home Basic for System Builders 3 Pack DVD - OEM

because my windows is 32bit and can only read 3.25gb of ram when i have 6gb.
And ALOT of games.

This sounds like a great project. You sound like an experienced computer tech. Maybe you would be interested in doing some work for us here at the school.

Hmm. Sorry but Windows Vista Home Basic Sucks. It has no features at all. It's barebones Vista. I recommend Windows XP Pro instead. XP maybe out of date kinda but it's still supported by allot of games and all Windows software. You can get Windows XP OEM off Amazon for about $100.

Hi Dominik. I'm glad your computer started working. You know a lot about them, so does my mom. She and my uncle will start talking about them and it's all just gibberish to me. Well, see you later.
